A Student Activity by ASH ON 27TH March 2025.
A Student Activity was oragnised by ASH ON 27TH March 2025. The event aimed to foster creativity and attention to detail among the students, preparing them for professional roles in the industry where such skills contribute to creating memorable dining experiences.
The primary aim of the event was to introduce students to the art of napkin folding, a skill vital in the hospitality industry for enhancing the aesthetic appeal of table settings. Through this hands-on experience, students were provided with the opportunity to explore both the cultural and practical significance of napkin folding in formal dining, events, and hospitality settings.
Under the guidance of the event coordinators, students were able to practice a variety of designs, such as the rose, butterfly, pyramid, and bishop’s hat, gaining hands-on experience in transforming simple napkins into beautiful, decorative pieces. The session not only helped students improve their hospitality skills but also deepened their understanding of the importance of presentation in the service industry.
