An awareness program on “Health & Hygiene” was organized by the Amity School of Fashion Design & Technology (ASFDT), Amity University Haryana, on 01 April 2026 at Village Bhaganki, Haryana. The outreach activity aimed to connect academic knowledge with real-life community needs by promoting awareness about hygiene practices and healthy living among villagers. It provided students with an opportunity to engage directly with the community and contribute to public health awareness.
The primary aim of the program was to create awareness about personal hygiene and sanitation practices while encouraging healthy and sustainable lifestyles. It also sought to emphasize the role of clean clothing in maintaining health, promote eco-friendly hygiene practices, and foster socially responsible behavior among students by involving them in community outreach initiatives.
The activity involved interactive sessions and demonstrations conducted by students to educate villagers about daily hygiene practices, clean clothing, and sustainable habits. The program effectively enhanced community awareness, encouraged positive behavioral changes, and highlighted the importance of hygiene in preventing diseases. Overall, the event contributed to both community well-being and students’ experiential learning, strengthening their communication, leadership, and social responsibility skills.
