Educational Visit to Amrit Udyan, Rashtrapati Bhawan was organised by ASH on 20th March 2026. The experience successfully bridged theoretical concepts with real-world applications, enhancing students’ awareness of heritage conservation and ecological responsibility.
The educational visit aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of horticulture, landscape design, and environmental sustainability through exposure to the Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhawan. It sought to provide experiential learning by enabling students to observe diverse plant species, garden layouts, and maintenance practices, while understanding the integration of aesthetics, heritage, and ecological conservation.
The visit proved to be highly enriching and informative, offering students valuable insights into garden design, biodiversity, and sustainable practices. Through direct observation of well-planned landscapes and diverse plant collections, participants developed a deeper appreciation for horticulture and environmental management. Overall, the event achieved its objective of promoting experiential learning and broadening students’ academic and practical understanding.
