The awareness program titled “Community Visit to PHC, Kasan (Haryana)” was conducted on 20 March 2026 at the Primary Health Centre, Kasan, Gurugram, Haryana. Organized by Amity Medical School. Through interactive sessions and engagement, participants effectively communicated key concepts related to malnutrition prevention and healthy living.

The awareness program aimed to educate community members about the importance of balanced nutrition, proper dietary habits, and early identification of malnutrition, particularly among vulnerable groups such as children and women. It also sought to promote preventive healthcare practices and encourage the effective utilization of Primary Health Centre services, while providing students with practical exposure to real-world public health challenges in alignment with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.

The program was successfully conducted, making a meaningful impact on community awareness regarding nutrition and health. The initiative not only benefited the local population but also enriched students’ practical understanding of community healthcare dynamics. Overall, the event achieved its objectives by fostering awareness, encouraging healthier practices, and strengthening the connection between healthcare services and the community.
