“Elderly Health Knowledge Bytes”
“Elderly Health Knowledge Bytes” was organised by ASH on 24 March 2026. Through interactive discussions and practical guidance, participants gained a clear understanding of balanced diets, portion control, and the importance of locally available nutritious foods
The community engagement program aimed to educate elderly residents of Panchgaon about the importance of balanced nutrition and healthy eating habits for maintaining overall well-being. It sought to create awareness about essential nutrients, preventive dietary practices, and lifestyle modifications to manage and reduce the risk of age-related health issues such as diabetes, hypertension, and digestive disorders.
The program was successfully conducted, making a meaningful impact on the elderly community by promoting awareness of healthy dietary practices. The initiative encouraged positive lifestyle changes and highlighted the role of nutrition in improving quality of life. Overall, the event achieved its objective of fostering health awareness and contributing to the well-being of the elderly population in Panchgaon.
