The Industrial Advisory Board Meeting was organized by the Amity School of Fashion Design and Technology on 17th April 2026 at the A Block Conference Hall as an institutional-level event
aligned with SDGs. The event sought to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical industry applications by incorporating expert perspectives on sustainability, digital fashion, artificial intelligence, textile testing, quality standards, and technological advancements into the curriculum.
Through interaction with industry expert Anuradha Chaddha and alumna Varsha, the session aimed to enhance students’ technical competence, professional readiness, quality awareness, and understanding of future-ready skills required in the global fashion and textile industry.
The valuable insights shared by Anuradha Chaddha on sustainable textiles, product development, global sourcing, supply chain management, artificial intelligence in fashion, and quality standards provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary industry practices and future trends. The interaction with Varsha further enriched the session by offering practical perspectives on professional expectations and industry experiences.
