A visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan

The educational visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan organized by the Department of Political Science, Amity School of Liberal Arts (ASLA), aimed to provide students with experiential learning opportunities by exposing them to the historical, constitutional, and institutional significance of the office of the President of India.

The visit sought to bridge the gap between theoretical political science education and practical understanding by enabling students to directly engage with important constitutional institutions and sites of national importance. It also aimed to enhance awareness of India’s democratic framework, governance traditions, political heritage, and cultural diversity while encouraging critical reflection on the institutional structures that uphold the functioning of the Indian state.

The educational visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan was successfully conducted as an enriching experiential learning activity for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of Political Science, Amity School of Liberal Arts (ASLA). During the visit, students explored significant locations within the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex, including the Main Hall, the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum, and the Tribal Museum, gaining valuable first-hand insights into India’s constitutional framework, governance traditions, political history, and cultural heritage.
