The Awareness Program was organised by AICP on 30 May 2026. The programme also strengthened participants' understanding of the social, psychological, and public health dimensions of tobacco use, encouraging them to make informed lifestyle choices and spread awareness within their communities.
The World No Tobacco Day Pledge-Taking Programme was organized to create awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption and promote a tobacco-free lifestyle among participants. The programme aimed to educate individuals about the medical, psychological, social, and emotional consequences of tobacco use, encourage informed health-related decision-making, strengthen public awareness regarding the prevention of tobacco-related diseases, and motivate participants to become advocates for tobacco-free environments within their families and communities.
