The Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism (AITT), Amity University Mumbai, successfully conducted a Hands-on Workshop on Australian Visa Application Processes on 21st November 2025 at the City Office, Kurla. The workshop was organized to provide tourism and hospitality students with practical knowledge of international travel documentation and real-world visa application procedures
The session was delivered by Mr. Mayur Jadhav, Team Leader at BTW Visa Services (India) Pvt. Ltd., Thane, a leading professional in visa facilitation and travel documentation. The workshop was moderated and coordinated by Dr. Babasaheb Jogdand. A total of BTTM and MTTM students participated in the session, reflecting strong academic interest in global mobility and travel compliance processes.
The workshop provided step-by-step guidance on navigating the official Australian immigration portal and understanding visa categories, eligibility requirements, documentation protocols, and financial criteria. Students gained hands-on exposure by creating logins and completing a dummy visa application, enabling them to understand application workflows, health examination requirements, document uploads, and common errors to avoid.
The session also highlighted the role of visa facilitation agencies in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and smooth client processing. By integrating real-time procedural knowledge with academic learning, the workshop enhanced students’ career readiness for roles in travel agencies, tour operations, visa consultancy services, and destination management.
The initiative reflects AITT’s commitment to bridging theory and practice while preparing students to meet evolving global travel industry standards.
