HEALTHY FOOD TO BOOST IMMUNE SYSTEM AGAINST COVID-19

Covid–19 or Corona virus was declared as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization. Currently there is no medicine for COVID-19, it will be good to take healthy food which boost your immune system. The health experts have suggested healthy food plan that boosting the body’s immune system. Eat food which is low in carbohydrates and rich in protein will help in slow down diabetes, hypertension, cardio vascular disease at a higher risk of having Covid 19 complications. Ministry of AYUSH recommends herbs such as Haldi (Turmeric), Jeera (Cumin), Dhaniya (Coriander) and Lahsun (Garlic) while cooking your food to keep your immune system healthy. According to nutritionist regularly consume citrus fruit and vegetables like mushrooms, tomato, bell pepper and green vegetables like broccoli, spinach are also good options to build resilience in the body against infections. Certain seeds and nuts like sunflower seeds, Flax seed, pumpkin seeds and melon seeds are excellent sources of protein and vitamin E, making the immune system strong. Drink up to 8-10 glasses of water to stay hydrated which flush out the toxins from the body and minimize the risk of flu.
