 An Expert Talk was organised by Academic Staff College & Centre of Excellence for Innovation in Education on 27^th March 2025. The event was organized with the intention of fostering a nuanced understanding of the crucial role played by civil society organizations in the unification of Korea.

By shedding light on the ongoing humanitarian crisis in North Korea, political instability, and the broader implications for regional peace, the event aimed to catalyse global awareness and discourse. It further explored the strategic dimensions of psychological warfare, civic engagement, and human rights advocacy as instruments of transformation in the North Korean context.

The session offered invaluable insights into the complex geopolitical dynamics of the Korean Peninsula. Dr. Kim Dong-Su’s compelling address underscored the urgency of international engagement, revealing critical perspectives on North Korea’s covert involvement in global conflicts and the growing unrest within its military ranks.
