On 19th September 2025, the Amity School of Languages (ASL), in collaboration with the Centre of BRICS Studies, AUH, organized the International Interethnic Dictation Competition at the Moot Court. The event was conducted in partnership with the Russian Centre of Science & Culture, New Delhi, Rosstrunichestvo, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and the Library of Foreign Languages, Moscow.
The event aimed to spark students’ interest in Russian as a foreign language through exposure to classic Russian literature. It further sought to popularize the study of foreign languages as a tool of intercultural communication, while also celebrating global collaboration in language learning. The competition served as an engaging platform to connect students with Russian language, literature, and culture while promoting intercultural understanding.
The event not only deepened linguistic awareness but also fostered cultural exchange, appreciation, and dialogue. With the guidance of faculty and the support of international collaborators, the competition highlighted the role of language as a bridge across cultures and emphasized the importance of academic partnerships in enriching global education.
